Welcome everyone to the fifth episode of the third season. My name is Spencer Charles aka Latterdayhelp, and today I have a story from my friend Jacob. His instagram is @deez_fortgame. This is his story with the Book of Mormon.
My father, he was talking to missionaries from the church. He received a copy of The Book of Mormon but he never read it and was never part of a religious organization. But I got him interested in The Book of Mormon and Jospeh Smith. I felt that I had the same questions as he did so during dinner one day, I asked him if I could have The Book of Mormon.
He then went to the bookshelf and grabbed the Book of Mormon. As I held that great book, I didn’t have a feeling, but I had a confirmation that this book was true and the word of God. And from that day I could never ever deny it, ever in my life. It was the reason I why never joined any other church was because The Book of Mormon is true.
It was confirmed to me, it didn’t make me think of joining The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, but it made me want to keep searching for the truth. I later joined the church from later revelation from God that the church, is His church.
