In this weeks video and podcast we will spend a lot of time talking about chapter 2. Here we will cover why we need a Savior, the Fall, and how there is opposition in all things. We will also address Nephi’s personal struggle in chapter 4 and I will relate how I have dealt with feelings of depression and anxiety.
There is so much to learn from in these chapters so I hope you will join me.

Hi Debbie,
I loved the quote you shared today that you found when you were a teenager. Where can I find it so I can write it down?
Thank you for the great job that you do each week, you are awesome!
Oh I’m so glad you liked that quote. It’s definitely one of my favorites. It comes from Dean Hughes books “Children of the Promise”. Unfortunately I don’t remember which book (there are 5) or which page but here it is from my memory…
“You know the answer, it has always been the same, Forget Yourself!!!
The more you look inside the worst things get. Concentrate on your suffering brothers and sisters. Do all you can to help them and you won’t have time to think about yourself. Do this and God will heal you. It may not happen over night but it will happen. That is a promise I can make you as a servant of the Lord. “
Thank you again for watching our videos. I’m so glad you enjoy them. That makes me feel so good!!! And I love hearing from people so thank you for reaching out to me!!!!!😁

Thank you for your thoughts on depression and anxiety. I will pass these suggestions along to my loved ones who suffer and use them myself
