Jarom 1:7
“And it came to pass that they came many times against us, the Nephites, to battle. But our kings and our leaders were mighty men in the faith of the Lord; and they taught the people the ways of the Lord; wherefore, we withstood the Lamanites and swept them away out of our lands, and began to fortify our cities, or whatsoever place of our inheritance.”
The Nephites were most likely not the strongest people but they were able to remain free of the lamanites thanks to the power of the Lord. I love how this verse says that they taught the people the ways of the Lord and thats why they won all the battles and wars. My goal is to be mighty in the faith of the Lord as the Nephite warriors were! I know that if I am, I will be able to overcome any physical, mental, or spiritual trial I am given with perseverance and strength through the power of God!!
