Plead to have the Holy Ghost with you as you read. Then open your scriptures–anywhere–and read until you find the answer. Try if for 30 days and see what happens.”
This was the challenge that Wendy Nelson gave to the young adults back in 2016!
I took the challenge serious, and kept a journal of my answers!
There was one answer that I got, that I was sure was the wrong answer. So for the next 3 days I asked the same question, and got the same answer every time. Different scriptures, but same answer! 🙂
Still today that one question and one answer has aided me in many decisions, and I am thankful for the Lords diligence in giving me a straight answer…even when I questioned him. He understood my weaknesses better than I did! He understood that by helping me understand my weaknesses they would become strengths. I am so thankful for this challenge. I use this technique on a regular basis, and every time I am able to get an answer to my question.
It’s not always written on the pages of the scriptures, but while reading, the Holy Ghost will speak to your heart and the answer will come! 🙂
