Yesterday, I received a text requesting the family to do a special fast today. Around 1:00 pm, I was struggling and texted my wife this text:
“I am not going to lie, fasting is harder when it is for someone else like this. I need to turn on the faith! 😂”
That thought rang in my mind, turn on your faith. I decided to make a quote out of it. Shortly after, I thought the following as well, Bring your faith, not your pity party.
I was determined to bring my faith. Then, my wife texted me a few things that she was fasting for, and that immediately gave my fast a needed power. Needless to say, hunger lost its appeal. When we choose faith, we will be given greater power than that of our own. We can always do more with God than without.
So, put on a smile, bring your faith, trust in God and watch the blessings flow. 😀
