Luke 6:46 And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?
Matthew 7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
I have been thinking about these scriptures and seeking to better understand the will of God in my life through much scripture study, prayer, and fasting. Every single time I have taken action on anything that I thought to be the will of God, I have felt closer to Him which is an incredible feeling.
I wish I could better explain, but I can’t. All I can use are words from my limited vocabulary.
My whole life I have had all of this knowledge, but I didn’t put it into practice. I wish I could go back to my former self and explain, but I had so many people trying to explain it to me. It’s something we won’t understand until we truly put our faith into practice.
