“At the final day, the Savior will not ask about the nature of our callings. He will not inquire about our material possessions or fame. He will ask if we ministered to the sick, gave food and drink to the hungry, visited those in prison, or gave succor to the weak.”
— Joseph B. Witthlin
I suspect the reason ministering, loving one another, and following the commandments are so high on the churches’ priority list is because these are some of the things that our Heavenly Father want most from each of us. If we are asked to do something or fulfil some calling or responsibility, do not do so begrudgingly. You have been called to move the work forward and be an difference maker in the lives of those you serve. Let us do the things we have committed to doing and do it cheerfully.
