The apex ordinance along the covenant path in the gospel of Jesus Christ is the Sealing Covenant. I believe it is because it’s the only covenant we make with another imperfect being. Every other covenant is made with God, and we are the only one who will fall short. But the sealing covenant, another we covenant with may fall short. It requires forgiveness on our part, and brings us closer to God in learning this most difficult lesson. We can extend that forgiveness to others and help the world heal.
