Marriage is a divinely inspired institution. What makes it so unique and soul stretching is that every other covenant we make is made with a perfect being, whereas marriage is a covenant between two imperfect people. These two will spend their lives uplifting, forgiving and seeking forgiveness and becoming better than either could be alone. Marriage is critical to God’s plan.
