“Make the temple your north star.”

Elder Jaggi is visiting for Cranbrook Stake Conference and shared this little pearl of wisdom. He shared that too many youth and young adults tie their individual worth to the goal of serving a mission, when they should really be setting their sights on the temple. They use the temple to be able to go on a mission, whereas the temple should be the goal itself. We can help them by teaching correct principles into the importance of the temple and how it connects us with heaven. Understanding this, it should set up our youth and young adults to having a deeper connection with Jesus Christ. When that happens, missions will happen, conversion takes place and our youth and young adults are set up for success.
