While I’m not traditionally a believer in the transactional relationship with God, I do believe the best way to show God that we love Him is to dedicate ourselves to Him by sacrificing many of our mortal passions and desires. I believe He will bless us with Eternity, and am comfortable seeing Him again knowing I put every effort into serving Him and His children.
