“The Savior is never closer to you than when you are facing or climbing a mountain with faith.”

— Russell M. Nelson

When you are climbing a spiritual mountain with faith, Jesus is going to be close to you. Because of the atonement, He understands the mountain that you are climbing and He will help you make it to the top.

“To combat such deception, it is important to remember that “the Savior loves each of His Father’s children. He fully comprehends the pain and struggle that many experience as they live with a broad range of mental health challenges. He suffered ‘pains and afflictions and temptations of every kind; … [taking] upon him the pains and the sicknesses of his people’ (Alma 7:11; emphasis added; see also Hebrews 4:15–16; 2 Nephi 9:21). Because He understands all afflictions, He knows how ‘to heal the brokenhearted’ (Luke 4:18; see also Isaiah 49:13–16).” Challenges often indicate a need for additional tools and support and are not a character defect.”

— Elder Erich E. Kopischke

Jesus Christ loves all of Heavenly Father’s children. Because of the atonement, Jesus understands all things that everyone is going through. Because of this, Christ can help you and others when you or they have to face trials, temptations, and sicknesses.

“Missionaries leave their homes to preach His gospel. Their goal is not to increase the number of church members. Rather, our missionaries teach and baptize to bring joy to the people of the world!”

— Russell M. Nelson

Missionaries from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints leave their families and life for more than a year, to peach the gospel of Jesus Christ, and so other families can be together forever. Their goal is to baptize and bring joy and truth to the world!

“We’re not deleting anything. Truth is not hate speech. If the cost of telling the truth is… then so be it.”

— @Thebabylonbee

Truth is truth and the truth cannot be censored! Just want to give a shout out to @thebabylonbee for not backing down to Twitter, and for speaking the truth. It doesn’t matter what the cost is for speaking and telling the truth, all and any consequences for speaking up for what is right is worth it!  Anyone who does or tries to silence or censor the truth will stand accountable before God for their wicked actions.

“Despite the good works that can be accomplished without a church, the fulness of doctrine and its saving and exalting ordinances are available only in the restored church.”
— Elder Oaks

Good works can be preformed outside of a church. You don’t need a church to do good! However the power of God, as well as saving and exalting ordinances are only available in the restored church of Jesus Christ. Only His church has the tools we need to return to our Heavenly Parents and Jesus Christ.

“Satan likes to hide wolves in Sheep’s clothing but that’s alright. God hides Lions inside of Lambs.”

— Unknown

There are many wolves within sheep’s clothing, waiting for the right moment to strike. But there is no need to worry or fear. God likes to hide lions within his lambs! You are stronger than Satan’s wolves!

“Dark times lie ahead of us and there will be a time when we must choose between what is easy and what is right.”

— Albus Dumbledore

We live in dark times and the darkness will only increase as we get closer to the return of Christ. We will get to the point of choosing the easy wrong or the hard right. Always choose the right, no matter what.

“I am grateful for prophets, seers, and revelators; they are the watchmen on the tower. They see things that we do not see. I testify that through their words, we can become better followers of the Savior Jesus Christ and achieve our potential. I testify that Christ lives and knows each one of us individually. This is His Church. In the sacred name of Jesus Christ, amen.”

— Elder Ciro Schmeil

The prophets and apostles of Christ’s church are the watchmen on the tower. They see things before we do and because of that, they warn us of what’s coming next to help prepare us. Through their words we can become better disciples of Jesus Christ.

“God will use you to make the lives of others better.”

— Elder Uchtdorf

God has imperfect people do His work. We are all imperfect, so He has us do His work! Make sure you are aware of when other people need help so you can help them and make their lives better.

“Whenever you get an impression, act on it, however unusual it seems or however inadequate you feel in following it. Act upon it. There’s A Reason. You may not know the reason, but blessings will follow to you and to someone else if you hear Him.”

— Dallin H. Oaks

If you feel like the Holy Ghost is telling you to do something, do it! If something is good, it is from God. You will receive blessings by acting on impressions from the Holy Ghost.

“Remember how the Savior handled tough questions… He remained calm, He showed respect, and He taught truth, but He never forced anyone to live the way He taught.”

— Elder Rasband

Jesus Christ was an expert at handling tough questions, and we can learn from Him. He remained calm. It is very easy to get angry and impatient with people who don’t know the truth, but it is important to remain calm and to relax. Second, He showed respect. If you show respect, people will be more open to listening to you and they will be kinder. Lastly, Jesus taught the truth. Always teach truth, pure truth, whenever you are handling hard questions.

“We can picture the love of God as light emanating from the tree of life, shedding itself abroad over all the earth into the hearts of the children of men. God’s light and love permeate all His creations.”

— Susan H. Porter

The love of God is like light, coming from the tree of life. The light shines all over the earth, through His creations. Seek for the light within this dark world.

“As apostles of the Lord Jesus Christ, it is our duty to be watchmen on the tower, warning church members to beware of false prophets and false teachers who lie in wait to ensnare and destroy faith and testimony. Today we warn you that there are false prophets and false teachers arising; and if we are not careful, even those who are among the faithful members of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will fall victim to their deception.”

— M. Russell Ballard

The apostles and prophet of the Lord Jesus Christ are like watchmen on towers. They can see things before we can see them and because of that, it is their job to warn us of upcoming danger. It is our responsibility to listen and follow their counsel. If you do not want to be deceived and led away from the truth, listen to the prophet and apostles of Christ’s church.

“First, love God the Father and Jesus Christ, our Savior. Jesus decreed the first great commandment: ”Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.”

— Elder Ronald A. Rasband

The first great commandment is to love God with all of our heart, might, mind, and strength. The first great truth that Jeffery R. Holland stated, was that God loves us with all of His heart, might, mind, and strength! What a wonderful relationship we can have with God if we love Him the same way He loves us!

“If someone is telling others to repent, they are probably not doing it out of hatred. Jesus Christ and His prophets often tell us and others to repent because they love us. If you don’t repent, you cannot receive eternal happiness and you can’t live with God again. Telling other people to repent is often done our of love.”
— Spencer Charles aka Latterdayhelp

Lots of people are full of the spirit of the Devil and commit many wickedness in the eyes of God. Because of this God tells other people to tell those wicked people to repent. Oftentimes the wicked people think they are saying that out of hate, but it is actually out of love! Telling people to repent is not a bad thing, if you don’t repent you cannot inherit the kingdom of heaven.

“Mormon is inviting us not only to pray that we may be filled with His love for others but to pray that we may know of God’s pure love for ourselves.”

— Sister Susan H. Porter

The prophet Mormon through the scriptures has invited us to pray not just so we may have the love of Christ with us, but so we may also know how much He loves us! I invite you to take this invitation from Mormon!

“I have long been impressed about the need for privacy in our personal prayers. The Savior at times found it necessary to slip away into the mountains or desert to pray.”

— Spencer W. Kimball

It is critical to have personal prayers with our Heavenly Father in private. We often times like the Savior, need to go to the ‘mountains’ or ‘desert,’ away from the world, to spend time with Heavenly Father. Find out how to Hear Him or very soon, you will not survive the dark days ahead before the second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ.

“You are never lost when you can see the temple. The temple will provide direction for you and your family in a world filled with chaos. It is an eternal guidepost which will help you from getting lost in the ”mist of darkness.”

— Elder Gary E. Stevenson

The temple is the house of the Lord. It is a place to feel of His peace and happiness, as well go receive revelation and direction. The temple will help you from being deceived from the forces of darkness. Go to the temple as often as possible!

“One of the first things we need to learn is that we are certainly not alone. I invite you to study the topic of mental health in the life help section of the Gospel library app. Learning will lead to more understanding, more acceptance, more compassion, more love. It can lessen tragedy while helping us develop and manage healthy expectations and healthy interactions.”

— Erich W. Kopischke

No matter what trials we face in this life, we do not face them alone. Jesus Christ knows and understands us. He is always with us. Mental health is a trial that many people have, and if we learn more about it, we can better understand those that are struggling.

“Don’t follow the world, follow the Lord.”

— Latterdayhelp aka Spencer Charles

The world is corrupted and ruled by Satan. They seek after temporary happiness and pleasure while those that follow the Lord Jesus Christ seek after eternal and never ending happiness. Follow the Lord and not the world. Following Jesus Christ is worth it no matter what!

“We are profoundly reminded of our Lord’s words to Thomas and the other Apostles on the eve of His atoning sacrifice: ”Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father but by me.”

— Christoffel Golden

Jesus Christ is the only way to return back home in the Celestial Kingdom with our Heavenly Parents. Because of the atonement Christ preformed for everyone, we all have the chance to return back to Heavenly Mother and Heavenly Father. They want us to return! Don’t let Jesus Christ’s sacrifice be for nothing!

“Gradually, a deeper understanding of Christ’s redemptive mission distilled upon her soul—His suffering for our sins and also for our pains, weaknesses, disappointments, and anguish. And she was inspired to ask herself a penetrating question: since the price already has been paid for those sins, would you demand that the price be paid twice? She realized that such a requirement would be neither just nor merciful.”

— Elder David A. Bednar

Jesus Christ has already suffered for your sins through the atonement He preformed. Since this is the case, why suffer for something that Christ already suffered for you? That wouldn’t be fair to Him. Therefore repent so you will not have to suffer the consequences of your sins!

“Again, educating ourselves about mental illness prepares us to help ourselves and others who might be struggling. Open and honest discussion with one another will help this important topic to recieve the attention it deserves.”

— Erich W. Kopischke

If we educate ourselves and others about the trial of mental health that some people have, we can better help those that are struggling and that need our help. The topic of mental health needs to be addressed and it needs the attention that it deserves so we can help those struggling.

“We hear Jesus Christ better when we are still.”

— President Nelson

In the world there is a lot of distractions and spiritual noise. If we are not carful, that noise and distractions will make us deaf to the Holy Spirit. Because of this we must take time daily to be still and Hear Him. If we can’t hear Him daily, our spiritual foundation will crumble at a shockingly pace.

“We live in a time of turmoil. We have cause for concern. But we do not need to let our fears displace our faith. We can combat those fears by strengthening our faith.”

— Russell M. Nelson

There is a lot of crazy and scary things happening in our world but we have no need to fear. We don’t need our fears to replace or remove our faith in Jesus Christ. Christ is in control. Strengthen your faith in Him to combat those fears.

“God’s love is not found in the circumstances of our lives but in His presence in our lives. We know of His love when we receive strength beyond our own and when His Spirit brings peace, comfort, and direction. At times it may be difficult to feel His love. We can pray to have our eyes opened to see His hand in our lives and to see His love in the beauty of His creations.”

— Susan H. Porter

God’s love is in the presence of our lives, not in the circumstances of our lives. His love is eternal and He will always love you no matter what. God’s love is all around us through the beauty He puts on the earth, as well as in the stillness of the day.

“Many people hate Jesus Christ because they love sin! The temporary pleasures of sin are not worth it. Eternal happiness and living with God again is worth it. Choose the right.”

— Spencer Charles aka Latterdayhelp

The temporary pleasure from doing sexual sins and other things isn’t worth it. Adultery, homosexuality acts, fornication, drugs, self stimulation, etc. Yes, all of these things in the short term may bring temporary pleasure and happiness, but it will only give you eternal death, sorrow, and destruction. Choose Jesus Christ over these things and all other sins. It is hard, but choosing the right is worth it.

“Strange as it may seem, no teaching, no miracle, and no appearance even of a heavenly angel, as witnessed by Laman and Lemuel, appears to have the persuasive power to convince some individuals to alter their course, outlook, or belief that something is true. This is especially the case when teachings or miracles do not agree with an individual’s preconceived whims, wishes, or ideas.”

— Christoffel Golden

I personally find it interesting that when wicked people experience or witness miracles and signs from God, usually it has no effect on them. This was the case when Laman and Lemuel had an angle visit then and told them to not beat their younger brother with a rod. This is probably why when people ask for signs from God that they usually don’t get them.

“He (Jesus Christ) has just been facing the biggest temptation of His life-to release His life in the face of tremendous anguish and pain ( The Atonement). He knew, like He had never known before, that His spirit was indeed ready but that His flesh was weak. And He also knew that the way out of the temptation which had confronted Him was through prayer.”

— LDS Living

Jesus Christ when suffering the atonement faced the biggest temptation that he would ever face, to give up His life to get out of the extremely harsh pain of the atonement. To get out of this temptation, He prayed to our Heavenly Father, multiple times in a row. Likewise when we are tempted, pray without ceasing.

“Stand up and speak for the truth especially when it’s not popular.”

— Russell M. Nelson

Satan is making people’s hearts hard and to think that good is evil and that evil is good. Do not listen to him! Instead, stand up for the truth NO MATTER WHAT! Especially stand up for the truth when it isn’t popular! Stand up for the family unit and not for the LGBTQ garbage. Stand up for Jesus Christ and not the word. Stand up for the truth and not lies. Your reward in Heaven will be great if you do this.

“He who takes offense when no offense is intended is a fool, and he who takes offense when offense is intended is a greater fool.”

— Brigham Young

When you take offense to something that no offense should be taken, you are a fool! And if someone does something to offend you and you become offended, you are a greater fool! No one should ever take offense to anything, we should all be at peace and not care what others think or say. The only opinion that matters, is God’s.

“As parents, we have the sacred charge to help our children navigate life’s challenges; however, few of us are mental health specialists. We nevertheless need to care for our children by helping them learn to be content with their sincere efforts as they strive to meet appropriate expectations. Each of us knows from our own personal shortcomings that spiritual growth is an ongoing process.”

— Erich W. Kopischke

Parents have a scared responsibility to help their children through the challenges of life as well as to teach them the truth.  Parents are not perfect, but with the help from our Heavenly Parents, parents can raise their children easier.

“Man’s laws cannot make moral what God has declared immoral.”

— Dallin H. Oaks

God’s laws will always be in force and will never change. Man’s laws will change, and are usually wrong and against God. What God has declared to be wrong is wrong, and no one and nothing can or ever will change that. You can live in the world, but you don’t have be be apart of it. Follow God’s laws instead of the laws of man.

“…it has been demonstrated that I have been willing to die for a ‘Mormon.’ I am bold to declare before Heaven that I am just as ready to die in defending the rights of a Presbyterian, a Baptist, or a good man of any other denomination; for the same principle which would trample upon the rights of the Latter-day Saints would trample upon the rights of the Roman Catholics, or of any other denomination who may be unpopular and too weak to defend themselves.”

— Lieutenant General Jospeh Smith

Just as Jospeh Smith, the prophet of Christ’s restored church, and the Lieutenant General of the Nauvoo Legion, said that he would die for the rights of another person’s religion, I am proud to say I will do the same. Regardless of what your religion is, I will gladly die for you and your right to worship, as I would die for another member of my church. It is the right thing to do to defend and if need be die, for a denomination that may be under attack, unpopular, or too weak to defend themselves. I hope and pray that others will do the same for others and for me.

“This woman learned that binding herself to the Savior through covenants and ordinances can heal the wounds caused by another person’s unrighteous exercise of moral agency and enabled her to find the capacity to forgive and receive peace, mercy, and love.”

— Elder Bednar

If we bind ourself to Jesus Christ through ordinances and covenants, our spiritual wounds from other peoples unrighteous actions against us or others can heal much quicker. If we also make ordinances and covenants with Christ, we will find it easier to forgive, love, find peace, and have mercy on others.

“It is sad that Judas betrayed Jesus Christ for 30 pieces of silver. But it is even more heartbreaking that we betray Christ all the time for free.”

— Latterdayhelp aka Spencer Charles

When we choose other things over Jesus Christ we are not literally betraying Him like Judas but we are betraying Him in a different way. We choose sin and other things over Jesus. When we do this, in a way we betray Him. We need to put Christ first and not betray Him anymore. We need to choose Christ over sin and the lesser important things.

“Nephi’s words raise the questions “What things do you ponder?” “What things really matter to you?” “What are the things of your soul?” The things of our souls are often clarified and deepened by asking questions.”

— Elder Ronald A. Rasband

You need to ask those questions about yourself from Nephi and find out what is the center of your life. What is most important to you. If Jesus Christ doesn’t matter to you and if He isn’t the center of your life, you need to change!

“Fourteen-year-old Joseph Smith had a question deep in his soul, and he took it to the Lord. President Russell M. Nelson has emphasized: “Take your questions to the Lord and to other faithful sources. Study with the desire to believe rather than with the hope that you can find a flaw in the fabric of a prophet’s life or a discrepancy in the scriptures. Stop increasing your doubts by rehearsing them with … doubters. Allow the Lord to lead you on your journey of spiritual discovery.”

— Ronald A. Rasband

If you have any questions about anything, take it to the Lord! Ask of God! Only by asking can you receive an answer. The only way you can know the truth of something is if you ask God. Google and other people can lie but God can’t.

“Can anyone long have an enemy when he prayers for persons around him about whom he may have hard feelings?”

— President Kimball

I know from personal experience when you start to pray for those that are your enemies, it is hard to hate them and easier to love them. Jesus did in fact say to pray for those that hate you and persecute you. Maybe one of the reasons for this is so that it will be harder for us to hate others! Pray for your enemies!

“For my wife and me, the one thing that has always helped us was staying as close to the Lord as possible. In hindsight, we now see how the Lord patiently tutored us through times of great uncertainty. His light guided us step by step through the darkest hours.”

— Erich W. Kopischke

It is important to stay close to the Lord. If you do so He can help you in times of distress and uncertainty. Christ wants to help you but you must stay near to Him! His light will help you in the darkest times of life.

“It is finished: and He bowed His head, and gave up the ghost.”

— John 19:30

IT IS FINISHED! THE SON OF GOD IS DEAD!!!

“Regrettably, according to the scriptural record, many of the Jews, in like manner, could not accept that a man named Jesus, from the little-regarded province of Galilee, was indeed the long-awaited Messiah. Jesus, who had indeed come to fulfill the many prophecies made by Hebrew prophets, was rejected and even crucified because, as the Book of Mormon prophet Jacob taught, the Jews were “looking beyond the mark.”

— Christoffel Golden

The Jews didn’t accept Jesus Christ as their Savior since they were looking beyond the mark. We must unlike the Jews not make that same mistake, we must not look beyond what we have been told by prophet and in the scriptures.

“I urge you to find a way to make an appointment regularly with the Lord-to be in His holy house then keep that appointment with exactness and joy.”

— Russell M. Nelson

The house of the Lord is probably they most sacred and holy place on earth. Please make an appointment with Christ to be with Him in His house. You will feel of Christ’s spirit, love, peace, and happiness. You will not regret going! Make an appointment!

“I testify that our Lord and Savior did indeed die for each and every one of us. It was an expression of His infinite love for us and for His Father.”

— Sister Susan H. Porter

Jesus Christ did die for us and suffered the atonement for us. By doing this He didn’t just make the resurrection and repenting possible, He showed us and Heavenly Father how much He loves all of God’s children, and how much He loves God. Christ showed the most amount of love for everyone.

“Does God really want to speak to you? Yes!”

— Russell M. Nelson

Heavenly Father truly does want to talk to you!!! So get the heck off of your phone and start praying! After you pray open your scriptures and study them. I promise you that if you do this Heavenly Father will speak to you through the scriptures, through a thought, or through a feeling. Heavenly Father loves to talk to all of His children but you have to be willing to listen and take time to do so!

”Repentance is not a punishment, it is a privilege.”

— M. Joseph Brough

Repentance is so amazing, especially if you repent daily! Repenting is in no way a punishment, is a wonderful way to give up our sins, and then turn and face God. Because Christ suffered the atonement, we all have the ability to repent. Repentance is a privilege, and don’t take it for granted!

“We live in a modern world filled with great knowledge and much prowess. Nonetheless, these things too often camouflage the unsteady foundation upon which they are built. Consequently, they do not lead to real truth and on toward God and the power to receive revelation, acquire spiritual knowledge, and develop faith in Jesus Christ that leads to salvation.”

— Elder Christoffel Golden

Our world is filled with lots of knowledge. However most knowledge in this world is false and doesn’t come from God. The only way to know what things you hear and see are true is if you ask Heavenly Father in the name of Christ, what is true, with a sincere desire to know the truth. The things of God lead to more truth and spiritual knowledge. Spiritual knowledge is more valuable than earthly knowledge.

“This is where many struggle. Isn’t it curious that loving ourselves seems to come less easily than loving others? Yet the Lord has said, “Love thy neighbour as thyself.” He values the divinity within us, and so must we.”

— Elder Ronald A. Rasband

Christ has said to love others but surprisingly, that isn’t the hardest part. The hardest part is loving ourselves! We need to love ourselves as well as other people.

“You can’t be right by doing wrong; you can’t be wrong by doing right.”

— President Monson

If you do wrong you cannot be righteous and you cannot be wicked if you do what is right. By their fruits or in others words, by their actions you shall know all people. Whatever someone does most of the time is how you can know if they are evil or good.

“When we are heavy laden with mistakes, heartaches, feelings of inadequacy, disappointment, anger, or sin, the power of the Savior’s Atonement is, by divine design, one of the things that lifts the soul.”

— Ronald A. Rasband

The atonement of Jesus Christ is the one thing that can heal you and help you. If Christ didn’t suffer the atonement, life would be worse and there would be no point of trying to do what is right, since we would not be able to repent. But Jesus did suffer the atonement. Because of this we do not have to suffer alone. We can repent daily and become better people. The atonement lifts the soul.

“True disciples of Jesus Christ are willing to stand out, speak up and be different from the people of the world.”

— President Nelson

If you are truly a disciple of The Lord Jesus Christ, you will stand up for what is right, speak up against evil, and be different from the world. If you are not currently doing any of these things, please change! Jesus Christ needs you on His side, to do what is is always right. He died for us, we have the responsibility to live for Him.

“I testify that Jesus Christ is our Savior. He knows us. He loves us, and He will wait on us. During our family’s trials, I have come to know just how close He is.”

— Elder Erich W. Kopischke

Jesus Christ truly is our Savior and the son of the Living God. He knows each and every single person that has and will live on earth. Christ will always be with us during our trials and suffering. He is always there, closer to us than we realize.

“Be of good cheer, and do not fear,” the Lord has said. Why? How, when challenges face us at every turn? Because of the promise made by Jesus Christ: “I the Lord am with you, and will stand by you.”

— Ronald A. Rasband

Jesus Christ has told us to be of good cheer and not to fear. Christ has suffered and overcome all things. He will always be with us and He will stand with us during whatever we face. He will help us.

“Jesus Christ Himself describes that His yoke is easy and His burden is light. We should all strive to keep the gospel simple—in our lives, in our families, in our classes and quorums, and in our wards and stakes.”

— Gary E. Stevenson

The gospel doesn’t have to be complex if we don’t make it complex. His gospel is beautiful and simple. We all should put the simpleness of Christ’s gospel into our homes and church wards.

“For those who have eyes to see, ears to hear, and hearts to feel, more than ever before we are required to confront the reality that we are getting ever closer to the Second Coming of Jesus Christ. True, great difficulties yet await those on the earth at His return, but in this regard, the faithful need not fear.”

— Elder Christoffel Golden

It is obvious that we are close to the return of Jesus Christ and we have to accept that. The world is in commotion and all things are going according to what the scriptures have said. The wicked do need to fear but the righteous do not. Repent and keep doing what you know to be right.

“While he was recuperating in the hospital, he enthusiastically handed out pamphlets and copies of the Book of Mormon to the doctors, nurses, and other patients. Even with these trials, he did not want to go home. Rather, he served until the last day of his mission with faith, energy, strength, and enthusiasm.”

— Moisés Villanueva

Even though this missionary was injured and was sent to the hospital and was being sent home soon, many people in his situation would just think that they would not be able to share the gospel. But this young man did otherwise! He, while in the hospital, handed out Book of Mormons and pamphlets to the nurses, doctors, and other people in the hospital. We can learn from this that no matter what situation we are in, there is always a way to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ!

“The Lord has made it clear: “If ye love me, keep my commandments.” Strive each day to be and do a little better and to press forward in righteousness.”

— Elder Rasband

Jesus Christ has said that if we truly love Him we will keep His commandments. We need to daily repent and try a little harder, to be a little better, than the day before. We need to daily seek to become more like our Savior, Jesus Christ.

“We feel that same intense pain when we experience the temporary separation from our loved ones. The Savior has perfect compassion for us. He doesn’t fault us for our shortsightedness nor for being limited in visualizing our eternal journey. Rather, He has compassion for our sadness and suffering.”

— Moisés Villanueva

When someone we love dies, that pain is so terrible and intense. Christ was the first to be resurrected from the dead and because of that all of God’s children will be resurrected. Death is only temporary because of Him. Jesus has compassion upon us for our sadness and suffering, because He experienced the atonement, He knows how we feel.

“Be the kind of friend who makes it easier for others to obey the commandments when they are with you.”

— Robert D. Hales

Because we live in the last days, it is harder to keep the commandment of God and to do what is right. Therefore be the kind of friend and person that makes it easier for others to keep the commandments. Light cleaves unto light, let your light shine.

“We are in a period of stress across the world. There are occasionally hard days for each of us. Do no despair. Do not give up. Look of the sunlight through the clouds.”

— President Hinckley

Since we are in the last days before Christ returns to the earth, wickedness and destruction will increase. These last days will not be easy and will be full of much stress and fear. Do not despair or give up! Christ is with those that follow Him, keep His commandments, and seek to improve daily. Look for what President Hinckley said, “look for the sunlight through the clouds.” Jesus Christ can take away all fear, worries, stress, and all other negative emotions. Seek Him!

“Similarly, we are sometimes asked why we send missionaries to so many nations, even among Christian populations. We are also asked why we give enormous humanitarian aid to persons who are not members of our Church without linking this to our missionary efforts. We do this because the Lord has taught us to esteem all of His children as our brothers and sisters, and we want to share our spiritual and temporal abundance with everyone.”

— Dallin H. Oaks

The Church of Jesus Christ has lots of money and supplies. Freely we have received, freely give. We help those that need our help, especially those that are not of our faith without expecting anything in return because that’s the right thing to do. We are all brothers and sisters of Heavenly Parents, we have the responsibility to share our spiritual and temporal wealth with the whole world.  Because of this we also do missionary work to share our spiritual knowledge and wealth with all who want to listen.

I call it being recommended to the Lord. Whether you have access to a temple or not, being worthy of a current temple recommend keeps you firmly focused on the things that matter, the covenant path.

— Elder Ronald A. Rasband

Being worthy to have a temple recommend is important even if you can’t go to the temple. Knowing you are worthy and keeping God’s commandments will help keep you on the covenant path.

“For all who are personally affected by mental illness, hold fast to your covenants, even if you might not feel God’s love at this time. Do whatever lies in your power and then “stand still … to see the salvation of God, and for his arm to be revealed.”

— Erich W. Kopischke

If you are struggling with mental illness, or any other trial hold on to your covenants no matter what. God loves you and He wants to help you. Peace be unto you and be still, all will be alright in the end.

“The gospel plan shows our Heavenly Father’s love for all His children. To understand this, we must seek to understand His plan and His commandments.”

— Elder Dallin H. Oaks

The plan of Salvation shows us all that Heavenly Father loves us so much. He even sent His only begotten son, to die for His plan to work. If we are to better understand His love and plan, we need to keep Heavenly Father’s commandments and seek to understand the plan.

“My dear brothers and sisters, how do we react to our afflictions? Do we murmur before the Lord because of them? Or, like Nephi and my former missionary friend, do we feel thankful in word, thought, and deed because we are more focused on our blessings than on our problems?”

— Elder Moisés Villanueva

When you have trials and afflictions come into your life, you should be excited! Whatever you are going through is going to help you become more like Christ! It is a learning opportunity! When these things happen to you, be more like Nephi and less like his two older brothers. Focus instead on what God has given you instead of everything that is going wrong. God is still in control of your life.

“To receive eternal life, we must “come unto Christ, and be perfected in him.” As we come unto Christ and help others do the same, we participate in God’s work of salvation and exaltation, which focuses on divinely appointed responsibilities.”

— Gary E. Stevenson

If we are to receive eternal life, the only way is through Jesus Christ. We must come unto Him and be perfected in Him. If we do this we will not just receive eternal life but we will also be participating in Christ’s work of salvation and exaltation.

“The most important words we can hear, ponder, and follow are those revealed through our living prophet. I bear witness that I have sat in counsel with President Nelson to discuss weighty matters of the Church and of the world, and I have seen revelation flow through him. He knows the Lord, he knows His ways, and he desires that all of God’s children will hear Him, the Lord Jesus Christ.”

— Ronald A. Rasband

Jesus Christ has ordained a prophet to oversee His church. The words that come from the prophet are one of the most important words that we can hear, follow and ponder. If we treat the words the prophet says as if Jesus Christ himself were speaking, we will be blessed. Prophet are called to speak on behalf of Him.

”The wrath of God is provoked by governments that sponsor gambling, condone pornography, or legalize abortion. These forces serve to denigrate women now, just as they did in the days of Sodom and Gomorrah.”

— Russell M. Nelson

Countries and governments that allow and don’t punish people for using pornography, gambling, engaging in homosexual acts and behaviors, transgenderism, as well as legalizing abortions will face the wrath of God and will be destroyed very soon. Do everything you can to make your country repent of these abominations in the sight of almighty God, or soon the wicked and the county will be destroyed. Repent quickly, God’s anger is increasing by the day. The end is near.

“It has been said that the gospel of Jesus Christ is “simply beautiful and beautifully simple.” The world is not. It is complicated, complex, and filled with turmoil and strife. We are blessed as we exercise care not to allow complexity, so common in the world, to enter into the way we receive and practice the gospel.”

— Gary E. Stevenson

The world is not simple or beautiful, it is filthy and full of abominations in the eyes of our Heavenly Parents and Jesus Christ. We must not let the complexity of the world and the filthiness of the world, enter our lives. We must stay close to Jesus Christ and His gospel.

“We are distinguished as a Church to be led by prophets, seers, and revelators called of God for this time. I promise that as you listen and follow their counsel, you will never be led astray. Never!”

— Ronald A. Rasband

Christ’s church has many seers, apostles, and prophets called for this time period to guide the members of Jesus Christ’s church. Listen very carefully to what they say, for if you obey their wisdom, you will never be led astray! They speak for Christ and we should treat their words as if they come from Christ’s own mouth.

“The Standard of Truth has been erected; no unhallowed hand can stop the work from progressing; persecutions may rage, mobs may combine, armies may assemble, calumny may defame, but the truth of God will go forth boldly, nobly, and independent, till it has penetrated every continent, visited every clime, swept every country, and sounded in every ear, till the purposes of God shall be accomplished, and the Great Jehovah shall say the work is done.”

— Jospeh Smith

Antichrists, those that act on LGBTQ feelings, those that hate the truth, and everyone else that isn’t for God will do whatever they can to stop the work of Jesus Christ. They may harm us, burn down our temples and homes, and even kill us, but God’s work cannot be stoped. The truth will go to everyone, and no one can stop that. No one. The purposes of God shall be accomplished, and all of those that fight against Zion will eventually be destroyed.

The Savior Himself invites us to come unto Him and take His yoke upon us that we may have rest in this tumultuous world. We come unto Christ by “exercising faith in [Him], repenting daily, making covenants with God as we receive the ordinances of salvation and exaltation, and enduring to the end by keeping those covenants.”

— Adeyinka A. Ojediran

Come unto The Lord Jesus Christ and become perfected in Him. Put His yoke upon you so your burdens may become light and so you can receive rest from this world. Only through Christ can we receive peace and rest. Walk with Him. Eat with Him. Spend time with Him. Study His words. As you develop a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, I promise you that your life will be full of light, happiness, peace and rest.

These orphaned children felt warm and reassuring bonds of their ward family to know that they are not alone and that God is always there for them. Those who reached out felt the love of the Savior for this family and acted as His hands in serving them.

— Elder Gary E. Stevenson

God will always be there for you, and you will never be alone. God and His people will always be there to comfort and help you in hard times. You have no need to worry or fear, God is always with you wherever you go. When we are serving others, we can often feel how much Christ and Heavenly Father feel about them, so much love!!!

“We have a prophet of God on the earth today! Never discount what that means for you. Remember the young woman I mentioned at the beginning. She wanted to know what things matter most. “Follow the living prophet,” I said then and I emphasize again today.”

— Ronald A. Rasband

Jesus Christ just like in times of old has given us a modern prophet to lead and guide us! Follow the prophet. The prophet speaks for Christ just like Moses and other prophets spoke for Jesus.

“When asked about her feelings regarding temple work, Lydia says, “What did I receive in the temple? I have made new covenants with God. My testimony has been strengthened. I have learned to receive personal revelation. I am able to perform saving ordinances for my deceased ancestors. And I can love and serve other people.” She concluded with this very true statement: “The Lord wants to see us in the temple often.”

— Gary E. Stevenson

The Lord Jesus Christ wants to see us often in His sacred and holy house. In Christ’s house you make covenants with Him and you serve those that have passed on to the next life. Your testimony will be extremely strengthened and you will receive personal revelation if you go to the temple. Therefore, go to His house, the temple.

“A common misunderstanding of the judgment that ultimately follows mortal life is that good people go to a place called heaven and bad people go to an everlasting place called hell. This erroneous assumption of only two ultimate destinations implies that those who cannot keep all the commandments required for heaven will necessarily be forever destined for hell.”

— Elder Dallin H. Oaks

Many people falsely believe that you will either go to Heaven or Hell. This is a not an accurate way of thinking because it implies that all who don’t keep all of God’s commandments will go to Hell. Everyone then would go to Hell because no one can become perfect in this life. The reality is that there are many mansions in Christ’s kingdom and that almost all except a very select few will not be able to obtain a kingdom of glory. Most people will receive a kingdom of glory, but if you want to receive the highest, you must make covenants with God, repent of sins, and keep His commandments.

“What we choose to do here will determine the kind of life we have throughout eternity. We are never just living for today.”

— Russell M. Nelson

If you want to enter into the Celestial kingdom, do what Christ and our Heavenly Parents have said! Every day we make the choice where we will end up when the final judgment happens. The life we live on earth determines the life we will have for eternity.

“I testify that He desires that our souls “shall never hunger nor thirst, but shall be filled” with His love as we seek to become His true disciples, to be one with Him as He is with the Father. In the name of Jesus Christ, amen.”

— Ronald A. Rasband

Jesus Christ is the bread of life and the living waters. He wants us to partake of Him so we will never spiritually hunger or thirst, but be fulfilled with His perfect and never ending love. Come unto Christ and be perfected in Him.

“What Would A Holy Young Adult Do?”

— Sister Wendy Nelson

If we ask ourselves this question multiple times a day, our lives will become more holy and full of peace, happiness, and the spirit of Christ. Now then, if you are a holy young adult, what will you do to make your life more holy?

“1. You are a child of God. 2. You are a child of the covenant. 3. You are a disciple of Jesus Christ.”

— President Russell M. Nelson

The three most important truths for us to know, to keep our minds set on retuning back to Christ and Heavenly Father is this quote. We are sons and daughters of God and children of the covenant. We are disciples of The Lord Jesus Christ. Never forget these three important truths!

“In moments of difficulty and trial, there are few things that bring us greater peace and satisfaction than serving our fellow man.”

— Moisés Villanueva

Serve everyone that you can on both sides of the veil. Almost no other thing brings peace and fulfillment than serving others. When we serve, we are serving God. (Mosiah 2:17)

Serving is especially good for us when we are facing trials and difficulty. We feel better after serving because we are doing good.

“Satan does not want you to think you can change. He will try to convince you that all is lost. That is a lie. You can return. You can repent. You can be pure and holy because of the Savior’s infinite atonement.”

— Sister Elaine S. Dalton

You can change this very second! Do you have a bad habit or an addiction, choose this moment to quit that habit or addiction and never turn back. It does not take years to overcome these things, you can overcome today! The Savior’s atonement can change anyone within seconds, you just need to apply it into your life.

“A loving Heavenly Father has a better plan for His children. The revealed doctrine of the restored Church of Jesus Christ teaches that all the children of God—with exceptions too limited to consider here—will finally wind up in a kingdom of glory. “In my Father’s house are many mansions,” Jesus taught. From modern revelation we know that those mansions are in three different kingdoms of glory.”

— Dallin H. Oaks

All of those who come to earth with very few exceptions will enter into a kingdom of glory. Jesus said that there are many mansions in His kingdom. Almost everyone will end up in one of the three kingdoms of glory. Many people think there is just a heaven and a hell, but our Heavenly Parents and Jesus Christ have a better plan for us, to enter into one of the three kingdoms.

“Jesus Christ showed us that during times of trial and adversity, we can recognize the difficulties of others. Moved with compassion, we can reach out and lift them. And as we do so, we are also lifted by our Christlike service.”

— Elder Moisés Villanueva

When we are in times of trial or facing challenges, it is easier for us to see the difficulties going on in the life of others. We can in our state help them with what they are going through, uplifting ourselves in the process. The best cure when going through hard times is helping others!

“Jesus Christ is the rock upon which we must build our foundation.”

— Donald L. Hallstrom

We must build our foundation only upon Jesus Christ and upon nothing else. All other foundations will fall, and great shall be the fall of all other foundations. Christ is the only way.

“In the Final Judgment each of us will be judged according to our deeds and the desires of our hearts. Before that, we will need to suffer for our unrepented sins. The scriptures are clear on that. Then our righteous Judge will grant us residence in one of those kingdoms of glory. Thus, as we know from modern revelation, all “shall be judged … , and every man shall receive according to his own works, his own dominion, in the mansions which are prepared.”

— Elder Dallin H. Oaks

When we are judged before Christ and Heavenly Father, we all will be judged according to our works and desires. We will also have to suffer for any unrepented sins.  After all of this Christ will send us to one of the three kingdoms of glory to live in forever.

“Dear brothers and sisters, each of us is a prince or princess. We have been sent to mortality by a loving Heavenly Father to enjoy the blessing of a body that would become immortal through the Atonement and Resurrection of Jesus Christ. We are expected to prepare to return to God’s presence by proving that we will “do all things whatsoever the Lord [our] God shall command [us]” (Abraham 3:25).”

— Adeyinka A. Ojediran

We all are either a prince or princess in Heavenly Father’s eyes and He is testing us to see if we are worthy to inherit the Celestial Kingdom. We are His children, we are royalty. We are to be tested to see if we will do all things that He shall command us. With this in mind, watch what you do if you want to inherit the Celestial Kingdom of glory.

“In this, the Church of Jesus Christ, I have had many opportunities to minister and serve my fellow man. It is at those times when I feel that Heavenly Father lightens my burdens.”

— Moisés Villanueva

When we serve and help others, Heavenly Father lightens our burdens and helps us with our trials. Through The Church of Jesus Christ we are presented with people who need our help, and that helps us become more like Christ.

“To help us, the Savior came to redeem us and show the path to return to God. God’s children are invited to come to the Savior and be perfected in Him. In the scriptures, we find the invitation for us to come to the Lord repeated over 90 times, and more than half of these are personal invitations from the Lord Himself. Accepting the Savior’s invitation means partaking of His ordinances and keeping our covenants with Him.”

— Adeyinka A. Ojediran

Jesus Christ wants us to come unto Him. He wants to heal us and help us. In the scriptures it says over 90 times to come unto Him! Isn’t that interesting. Christ is the way and He wants to help us return home. Come unto Jesus Christ.

“Our gospel learning and teaching deepen our conversion to Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ and help us become more like Them.”

— Adeyinka A. Ojediran

If you want to deepen your conversion to Jesus Christ and Heavenly Father, you should increase your learning and teaching of the gospel. When we learn more about then we become more converted to them. As we do this, we also become more like then which is one of the goals in this life.

“Moral agency is God’s precious gift to each of His children. We are “free to choose liberty and eternal life, through the great Mediator of all men, or to choose captivity and death, according to the captivity and power of the devil.”

— Elder Jörg Klebingat

Heavenly Father has all given us agency in this life to show Him if we will do all things that He commands us. We can choose eternal life or eternal death. It is your choice! Everyday you are showing Heavenly Father where you will end up at the final judgment.

“I unite my testimony with those of many other Saints that God is our loving Heavenly Father. I have felt His infinite love during my dark days. Our Savior, Jesus Christ, understands our pains and our afflictions. He wants to ease our burdens and comfort us. We must follow His example by serving and ministering to those with even greater burdens than our own. In the name of Jesus Christ, amen.”

— Moisés Villanueva

Heavenly Father loves us and I can testify that when I am still, I feel His love for me. Whenever need to, I can go off to a quiet place and feel His love through the Holy Ghost, and that He hasn’t and never will leave my side. Heavenly Father’s only begotten son, Jesus Christ, knows how we feel during hard times and if we come unto Him, our burdens can become light.

“In the end we will therefore reap what our lifelong choices have sown. So what does the sum total of our thoughts, desires, words, and works say about our love for the Savior, His chosen servants, and His restored Church?”

— Elder Jörg Klebingat

Whatever we put out in the world or do to others, it shall be given back to us. This is one of the laws that was made in the grand council of Heaven before the world was created. Whatever you reap you will sow. Therefore be cautious on what you do, for you will receive what you have done regardless if you have done good or evil.

“Some are puzzled at this emphasis, not understanding that the covenants and ordinances of the temple guide us toward achieving exaltation. This can be understood only in the context of the revealed truth of three degrees of glory. Because of our Heavenly Father’s great love for all of His children, He has provided other kingdoms of glory—as Elder Quentin L. Cook explained yesterday—all of which are more wonderful than we can comprehend.”

— Dallin H. Oaks

Covenants and Ordinances that we make help us draw near to Jesus Christ and help us achieve exaltation. If we do our best to keep the commandments and covenants we have made, there is a good chance of us entering into the Kingdom of God.

“If we look at ourselves only through mortal eyes, we may not see ourselves as good enough. But our Heavenly Father sees us as who we truly are and who we can become.”

— Dieter F. Uchtdorf

We see things in this life through mortal vision, and this view we have in this life isn’t always correct like they way we see ourselves. But if we look through Heavenly Father’s eyes, He sees His beautiful child that has the ability to receive all He has and become the person He knows they can become.

“Do our baptismal, priesthood, and temple covenants mean more to us than the praise of the world or the number of “likes” on social media? Is our love for the Lord and His commandments stronger than our love for anything or anyone else in this life?”

— Elder Jörg Klebingat

Do you care more about being praised or liked by the world more than the things of Christ and righteousness? If so, you need to change. We should care more about being followers of Jesus Christ than how many followers we have on social media. We should care more about speaking and standing up for what is right, regardless of the consequence, even if it means death, because if your blood is spilled for the things of God, very great shall be your reward in the kingdom of God.

“The Atonement of Jesus Christ makes all of this possible. He has revealed that He “glorifies the Father, and saves all the works of his hands.” That salvation is granted in different kingdoms of glory. We know from modern revelation that “all kingdoms have a law given.”

— Dallin H. Oaks

The atonement of Jesus Christ makes repenting possible, which makes the Plan of Salvation possible. Because of this almost all shall receive and enter into a kingdom of glory Heavenly Father has prepared for us. If you are not able to obey the laws of the Celestial kingdom, you will have to go to the Terrestial kingdom, but if you cannot keep those laws, you will be sent to the Telestial kingdom.

“The Family: A Proclamation To The World [Was] Received By Revelation. Those Revealed Words Are What Every True Latter-day Saint believes.”

— President Russell M. Nelson

The Family Proclamation is pure truth. It cannot and will never be changed. Each and every word in it is pure truth. The words in the proclamation were given to us by Jesus Christ. If you disagree with The Family: A Proclamation To The Word, you are not a disciple of Jesus Christ and you are not a Latter-day Saint. Every single true Latter-day Saint and disciple of Christ believes in every singe word in the proclamation. Marriage is only between one biological man and one biological woman. You cannot change your gender, gender is eternal. We all are sons and daughters of loving Heavenly Parents.

“Nephi counseled that all is not done by merely getting into the strait and narrow path; we “must press forward with a steadfastness in Christ, having a perfect brightness of hope, and a love of God and of all men” (see 2 Nephi 31:19–20).”

— Adeyinka A. Ojediran

When we get on the covenant path and stay there, we still have more to do! We need to continue on that path with faith, a prefect brightness of hope, and the love of God. When you get on the Covenant path, you must keep walking down it, you can’t just stand there and say ‘I have done enough!’

“God will not abandon His relationship with, or withhold His promised blessings of eternal life from, any faithful covenant keeper. And as we honor sacred covenants, we are drawn closer to the Savior.”

— Adeyinka A. Ojediran

People in this life may abandon you, but your Heavenly Parents and Jesus Christ will never abandon you. They will not withhold blessings or cut off your relationship with them, especially if you keep your covenants.

“In other words, the kingdom of glory we receive in the Final Judgment is determined by the laws we choose to abide by in our Heavenly Father’s loving plan. Under that plan there are multiple kingdoms so that all of His children can be assigned to a kingdom where they can “abide.”

— Dallin H. Oaks

Whatever laws we obey in this life is where we will end up after the final judgment. If you want to live in the Celestial Kingdom where God and Christ live, you must obey the laws of that kingdom. Keep the laws and commandments of God and not the commandments of man.

“The adversary and his followers have always sought to destroy the works of Christ and His prophets. The Savior’s commandments, if not ignored altogether, have been rationalized into meaninglessness by many in today’s world. Messengers of God who teach “inconvenient” truths are often dismissed. Even the Savior Himself was called “a man gluttonous, and a winebibber,” accused of disturbing public sentiment and being divisive. Weak and conniving souls “took counsel how they might entangle him in his talk,” and His “sect” of early Christians was “every where … spoken against.”

— Jörg Klebingat

People that follow Satan and those that are wicked are constantly seeking to destroy the work of Christ. They can range from antichrists, atheists, to even those that act on LGBTQ feelings. They think the commandments are meaningless and prevent them from having fun. However wickedness never was and never will be happiness. That short term pleasure for like a few seconds or minutes is nothing compared to the happiness you could have felt if you followed Christ and kept His commandments.

“Always remember that biblical story, that He was out there on the water with us.”

— Elder Holland

Jesus Christ was with the apostles during the storm and He will do the same for us. He will be with us during the storms of life. He will not forsake us, but comfort us and give us peace. He will say unto us, fear not, for I will be with you forever and ever.

“Thus, we honor individual agency. Most are aware of this Church’s great efforts to promote religious freedom. These efforts are in furtherance of our Heavenly Father’s plan. We seek to help all of His children—not just our own members—enjoy the precious freedom to choose.”

— Dallin H. Oaks

The Church of Jesus Christ promotes religious freedom to further progress the plan of God. All should have the freedom to worship God how they want and where they want. Agency is key to Heavenly Father’s plan.

“The Savior instituted the ordinance of the sacrament that we may always remember Him and have His Spirit to be with us. Baptism opens the gate to eternal life, and the sacrament helps us to steadfastly press forward along the covenant path. As we take the sacrament, it shall be a testimony unto the Father that we do always remember His Son.”

— Adeyinka A. Ojediran

The Sacrament is an ordinance preformed by those that have the Aaronic Priesthood, for those that seek to renew their covenants made at baptism and in the temple. As we keep those covenants and the things required of us in the Sacrament prayer, Christ’s spirit will always be with us and we will receive power and strength to make it through the week.

“The Savior and His early followers dealt with serious internal and external opposition, and we experience the same. Today it is almost impossible to courageously live our faith without occasionally attracting a few actual and virtual fingers of scorn from the worldly.”

— Elder Jörg Klebingat

Christ and His early followers and apostles faced fierce opposition, and we are no different than them. We also face fierce opposition. We must have courage to live our faith and stand up for the truth. We are not of this world, because if we were, the world would love us, but in reality the world hates us. The world loves darkness more than light. Let your light shine.

“And as we always remember Him and keep His commandments, we shall have His Spirit to be with us. Added to this promise, the Lord renews the promised remission of sin as we humbly repent of our sins.”

— Adeyinka A. Ojediran

Christ will forgive us of our sins if we repent and seek to do no more wickedness. If we keep His commandments His spirit will always be with us, which is what the sacrament prayer says. Repent and keep the commandments!

“Set aside time each day to thank the Lord for that day. Never allow yourself to forget, even of it’s a quick ”thank you for getting me through another day.”

— Elder M. Russell Ballard

You are blessed to have woken up this day. Heavenly Father could have taken you to the spirit world in your sleep but He didn’t. Set aside time daily to thank Him for the day which you have been given, especially if He helped you throughout the day.

“Fundamental to us is God’s revelation that exaltation can be attained only through faithfulness to the covenants of an eternal marriage between a man and a woman. That divine doctrine is why we teach that “gender is an essential characteristic of individual premortal, mortal, and eternal identity and purpose.”

— Dallin H. Oaks

God has commanded marriage to only be between a man and a woman and that will never change. Truth does not change. We can only receive exaltation through being faithful to the covenants we have made in the temple. This is why gender is so important. It is an eternal characteristic that can never be changed. You will always be a man or woman for eternity. Your gender cannot be changed.

“I know your lives are busy. I know that you have much to do. But I make you a promise that of you will go to the house of the Lord, you will be blessed; life will be better for you.”

— Gordon B. Hinckley

Life oftentimes gets busy, but even if you are busy you should still go to the House of The Lord. You will be blessed for doing so and life will get better.

“So what about us? Should we be intimidated or afraid? Should we live our religion at periscope depth? Surely not! With faith in Christ, we need not fear the reproach of men or be afraid of their revilings. With the Savior at the helm and living prophets to lead and guide us, “who can be against us?” Let us be confident, not apologetic, valiant, not timid, faithful, not fearful as we hold up the Lord’s light in these last days.”

— Elder Jörg Klebingat

There is no need to hide your beliefs and the truth or be afraid of people that threaten you because of the truth. If we are striving to be righteousness and have faith in Jesus Christ, we do not need to fear anyone anymore. He is with us. Hold up the light of Christ.

“The Lord has required His restored Church to oppose social and legal pressures to retreat from His doctrine of marriage between a man and a woman, to oppose changes that homogenize the differences between men and women or confuse or alter gender.”

— Elder Dallin H. Oaks

Christ has commanded that His church oppose any and all social and legal pressures to retreat from the doctrine of marriage between a man and a woman, or to alter and confuse gender. Do not retreat. Do not have fear. Stand strong in the light with the armor of God. If it appears like Heaven and Hell combine against us, we have no need to worry because if we are build upon the rock, who is Christ, we cannot fall.

“God invites us to cast our old ways completely out of reach and begin a new life in Christ. This happens as we develop faith in the Savior, which begins by hearing the testimony of those who have faith. Therefore, faith deepens as we act in ways that anchor us more firmly to Him.”

— Elder Dale G. Renlund

Cast off the natural man and begin a new life in Jesus Christ. Have faith in Him and trust Him. Make your life clean and pure. When we change our lives and make Jesus the center of our lives, many wonderful things start to change.

“The best way to gain wisdom and truth is not through spending time with the wise, and immersing yourself in books, but asking God in prayer to obtain truth and wisdom. It isn’t bad to spend time reading books and spending time with the wise, but that can only get you so far.”

— Spencer Charles aka Latterdayhelp

The knowledge and wisdom of this world can only get you so far. The most wise people and most praised books can only get you so far. However God can reveal to you things that no other person knows. He can reveal things that the wisest people do not know. Ask God through prayer to gain wisdom and truth.

“As disciples of Jesus Christ, our efforts to hear Him need to be more intentional.”

— President Nelson

We need to Hear Him. We need to be more intentional in hearing what Jesus Christ is telling us. He is speaking, but are you truly listening?

“The restored Church’s positions on these fundamentals frequently provoke opposition. We understand that. Our Heavenly Father’s plan allows for “opposition in all things,” and Satan’s most strenuous opposition is directed at whatever is most important to that plan.”

— Dallin H. Oaks

The Church of Jesus Christ has stated the truth about marriage and gender, and this obviously means the wicked will fight back and resist the truth but we will not give in. Satan attacks whatever is the most important, and currently he is attacking the family and our identity as sons and daughters of God. If he can crumble the family unit and make us confused on who we are, he gains a pretty big victory. However Christ and those that are righteous will win in the end.

“That is the miracle we seek—when one person has an experience in the scriptures and that experience is blessed by the influence of the Holy Ghost. Such experiences are precious foundation stones for our conversion to the Savior. And as President Russell M. Nelson recently reminded us, spiritual foundations must be constantly reinforced. Long-lasting conversion is a lifelong process. Conversion is our goal.”

— Mark L. Pace

Experiences we have in the scriptures that are blessed through the Holy Ghost are very precious foundation stones in Christ. This is important because we must as often as possible reinforce and repair our foundation in Him.

“You will one day stand aside and look at your difficult times, and you will realize that he was always there beside you.”

— Thomas S. Monson

Jesus Christ is always by your side. You are never alone. When we are going through trials and hard times, He is still there next to you. Christ will always be there and He will help you.
