“A temple is the most sacred place of worship in our Church, and we are delighted that you would join us for a tour,” Elder Renlund says in the video.
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has released a special, and sacred virtual tour of the Washington D.C. Temple. The tour is lead by Elder Gary E. Stevenson, his wife, Sister Lesa Stevenson, Elder Dale G. Renlund, and his wife, Sister Ruth Renlund. Both Elder Stevenson and Renlund are of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles.
Right before the video, as an introductory message, President Russell M. Nelson, Prophet of The Church of Jesus Christ, tells of the importance of temples and the holy ordinances preformed in them, both for the living and the dead.

The church has 282 temples that are operating, under construction, or announced. There are 171 currently dedicated temples.
The Washington D.C. Temple in-person open house is still available until June 11. Open-house ticket information is available at dctemple.org and tickets are free but limited, because of how many people want to see the temple before it is dedicated, as a house of Jesus Christ. After the temple is dedicated, only worthy members of Christ’s church may enter.
Holiness to The Lord.
