Hello and welcome my friends to this weeks Come Follow Me Review. My name is Spencer Charles also known as Latterdayhelp. Let’s begin!

Suggestion: when using The Come Follow Me book, use this page for my commentary and overview. You will see a quote from the Come Follow Me and my comments on it. First, look at the quote below and when it appears in the book, read my commentary below the quote. Repeat until you finish the Come Follow Me for this week. Enjoy!!!

All of this was meant to point their minds, their hearts, and their lives toward the Savior and the redemption He offers. He is the true path to holiness, for the Israelites and for us. We have all spent some time in the captivity of sin, and we are all invited to repent—to leave sin behind and follow Jesus Christ, who has promised, “I am able to make you holy” (Doctrine and Covenants 60:7).

I love that the Old Testament is filled with symbolism of Jesus Christ! The animal sacrifices represented Christ and that is only the tip of the iceberg. Jesus can free us of all of our sins if we repent, and seek to do and be better.

Especially consider how these items turn your thoughts toward the Savior.

This is a really good idea to follow! In the current temples across the world, there is also so many things that have symbolism.

What do you find in these commandments that could help you become more holy? What do you feel impressed to do to more fully live these principles?

Really good questions right here…

As a family, you could think of ways the Lord has invited us to participate in His work. How can we follow the Israelites’ example?

Another good question

Family members could each find a verse in this chapter that they feel will help them “be holy” (Leviticus 19:2) and share it with the family.

I love this idea!
