Welcome to part two! If you haven’t seen part one of this church topic, please read it and then go to this second part.

Before we move onto part two, let’s first have a short review of part one:

The world would rather have temporary pleasure now and never ending suffering later! The world hates the light because they would rather remain in the darkness. If Jesus Christ, the most perfect person on earth was persecuted and killed for doing good, speaking the truth and keeping the commandments of Heavenly Father, don’t think that you will escape the persecution He went through! The followers of Jesus Christ have His light inside of them. Your reward for endearing the temporary persecution will be greater than you can imagine and don’t forget to love your enemies!

Now let’s move on to part two after that nice refreshing review:

“If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you.”

“If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.”

“Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also.”

“But all these things will they do unto you for my name’s sake, because they know not him that sent me.”

—John 15:18-21

Alright, so if you follow Jesus Christ you will eventually be hated by those that are of the world. The words Jesus spoke about this above can help us. So first, Jesus Christ wants us to know that if the world hates us, that the world hated Him before us. This is important to know because the world hates Jesus Christ which means the world hates anything to do with Him.

Jesus Christ said in this second verse that He has called you out of the world! Yes, He has called you do do His work on earth!!! That’s incredible! Jesus Christ has chosen you out of the world to be a light in the world, to act as He acts to show unto others the truth. However, because Christ has called you out of the world, there is a conquense. The world hates you because Christ has chosen you, because the world hates anyone that has to do with Him.

The world also hates you and Jesus Christ because the do not know the one who has sent Him. The one who has sent Jesus Christ on earth to do a great work is Heavenly Father. Jesus Christ has said that if you don’t know Him you do not know His Father. Therefore, if God has sent Christ to do His work, God has also called you besides Jesus to do His work on earth. The world hates you and Jesus Christ because the world does not know who has sent both you of you to do a great work.

“And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake: but he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.”

— Mark 13:13

When you are persecuted by all people for Christ’s sake, if you endure you will be saved in the kingdom of God. You will receive many blessings and rewards that are so amazing you cannot comprehend how amazing the rewards are for enduring!

In the end of this two part article, I just want you to know no matter what the world does to you, enduring the temporary pain is worth it for an eternity of peace, joy and blessings. If you follow Christ, you are not of this world. You are from above and this world isn’t you home. Those that follow the world are of this world, and they are from beneath and will soon be destroyed for their wickedness. Endure, and everyting will turn out because God will be with you!
