“Jesus spent the nights in Bethany but came to the temple each day to teach. The Lord delivered some of His most profound lessons at this time.….Leaving the temple, Jesus took His disciples to the Mount of Olives. There He gave them a prophetic discourse that dealt with the imminent destruction of Jerusalem and the temple, and also focused on the destruction of the world at the Second Coming.”
On Tuesday, Jesus visited the temple and taught. As well as sharing parables, He was grilled by those who questioned His divinity. Ironic that Passover lambs were being inspected for blemishes at the same time, however Jesus Christ came away without spot. Later in the day, He took His disciples to the Mount of Olives and shared parables, teachings and prophecies, including the destruction of Jerusalem and His Second coming. One of His disciples, Judas Iscariot, meets with priests who want Jesus dead and agrees to give the Saviour up for 30 silver pieces.
