“Charity is having patience with someone who has let us down. It is resisting the impulse to become offended easily. It is accepting weakness and shortcomings. It is accepting people as they are.”
— Thomas S. Monson
Just as we don’t get upset when a toddler stumbles as they learn to walk, our Heavenly Parents will ever urge us onward and encourage us to be better. We each need to be a little more charitable, a little more kind and a little more Christlike, by accepting each other for who they are and by giving each space to grow and be better at whatever speed that is.
