“We love you all and pray that God will watch over you and protect you,” the Eastern Europe presidency said.

Because Russia invaded Ukraine, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints closed the temple located in Kyiv “until further notice.”

The presidency of Eastern Europe has been monitoring the situation and praying for those affected in these troubling times.

This closure for the Kyiv, Ukraine temple comes about a month after The Church moved all missionaries out of the country. At that time the church removed the missionaries out of Ukraine, out of caution.

There are around 11,242 members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Ukraine. There is also about 48 congregations around the country. There are also two missions within Ukraine. The temple in Kyiv, Ukraine is currently the only temple in the country.

We, the Spiritual Crusade News, asks anyone who is reading this to pray for the people of Ukraine and if possible, fast for them.
