At this season of the year we particularly rejoice and reflect upon the Savior’s Atonement. It is indeed the most supernal, mind-expanding, passionate doctrine this world or universe has ever known. It is what gives hope and purpose to our lives.
Loving that we are covering the Old Testament this year! There are many themes throughout, however I am focusing on the Atonement and Christ which permeate the Old Testament. Why would the atonement be so preached, talked about, included, and reinforced? Because the Atonement of Jesus Christ is everything we need to start fresh and anew when we find ourselves making mistakes and committing sin. The Atonement also covers pains, sicknesses, sorrows and suffering. I am so GRATEFUL for the plan of salvation and for my, our, Redeemer.
