“Light The World With Love.”

With currently 10 locations for the giving machines in the United States, there will be three more added to different cities. Those cities are Nashville, Oakland and Kansas City. The Light the World Giving Machine campaign will go until January 1, 2022. Those that opening will open this month are at: 

Las Vegas, Nevada – Downtown Summerlin Mall. Opening Nov. 3 

Honolulu, Hawaii – Pearlridge Center. Opening Nov. 20 

Salt Lake City, Utah – City Creek Center. Opening Nov. 24 

Orem, Utah – University Place. Opening Nov. 23 

Nashville, Tennessee – Bridgestone Arena. Opening Nov. 18 

Oakland, California – Temple Hill. Opening Nov. 27 

Kansas City, Missouri – Crown Center. Opening Nov. 30

Gilbert, Arizona – Water Tower Plaza. Opening Nov. 29 

New York, New York – Manhattan New York Temple. Opening Nov. 30 

Denver, Colorado – Writer Square. Opening Nov. 30 

It is currently unknown when the three new machines will open. The Giving Machines are not like any normal vending machine. They provide service with an interesting twist. Instead of getting a product after a purchase, the vending-type machines allow an individual to make charitable donations to those that are in need. 

Each machine features “items” that are available through global and local charities. The official church news has stared the items are: 

“food, clean water, health-care services, shelter, bedding, skills training and educational supplies. The initiatives ever-popular agricultural offerings — donations of chickens, goats, pigs and beehives — are also available”

More information about the Giving Machines and the Light the World project will be available at LightTheWorld.org starting Nov. 18.
