“There really is absolute truth—eternal truth. One of the plagues of our day is that too few people know where to turn for truth”

— President Russell M. Nelson, Oct. 2021 General Conference

In this day and age, the return of Jesus Christ is not far off. Very soon the Lord will return in all His glory and power. However before He does this, the wicked must be destroyed. If we are going to be the righteousness, we cannot afford to be deceived. Many people have no clue what the truth is about many things and they don’t know where to find the truth. But truth does exist, and it isn’t that hard to find it!

The only way to know the truth about something is to ask God, in the name of Christ, with real intent and having faith in Christ that God will answer you. If you do this, God will reveal the truth to you by the power of the Holy Ghost. And by the power of the Holy Ghost, you can know the truth of everything!

4.And when ye shall receive these things, I would exhort you that ye would ask God, the Eternal Father, in the name of Christ, if these things are not true; and if ye shall ask with a sincere heart, with real intent, having faith in Christ, he will manifest the truth of it unto you, by the power of the Holy Ghost.
5 And by the power of the Holy Ghost ye may know the truth of all things.

Moroni 10:4-5

If you don’t ask, you will not receive. If you seek not, you will not find and if you don’t knock, it will not be opened unto you. God will not tell you something if you don’t ask about it. Many people that believe in God think that some things will not be revealed to them because of whatever reason. This is false. God will tell you the truth of everything if you ask Him, in the name of Christ, with real intent and having faith in Christ that God will answer you.

After you have prayed, study the scriptures and ponder about your question in a quiet place. God will speak to you by the Holy Ghost and that feeling or thought is unmistakable. In His timing, you will receive the truth. Just remember, God may not answer you immediately. Have faith He will answer you and have patience.

Receiving answers to prayers is a process: first you need to study your question in your mind; then you should ask God if your answer is right. If your answer is right, the Lord will “speak peace to your mind”

 (D&C 6:23).
