What greater witness can you have

Doctrine and Covenants 6:23 Did I not speak peace to your mind concerning the matter? What greater witness can you have than from God?

We have all had the spirit burn within our hearts at one time or another bearing witness of Christ and His church and kingdom. Let us not diminish or rationalize it away, for what greater witness can you have than from God?
