There are things that matter in this world and there are things that don’t! Make sure that the things you are spending your time on matter. Because when all is said and done, the hockey scores won’t matter, neither will the bank account or the bucket list items. What will matter are the relationships you’ve built, the people you’ve helped and the hearts you’ve touched!

We have such a finite amount of time on this earth, it would be a shame if we didn’t spend that time on the most important thing! Not all wisdom is created equal, and gaining and sharing a testimony of the Book of Mormon is one of the most important things!

Do what you can, let the consequence follow. Focus on what you can control sand know that your Heavenly Father loves you. That should be enough. If others are struggling with their relationship with God, do t let that effect your relationship with Him.

Don’t ever stop growing in the gospel! It is our charge to be our best self, and that includes pushing ourselves when life seems to be easy! As disciples of Christ, we must strive to be better and to look for those who need our help. And yes, we will fail, but we can learn and be made better thanks to a loving Saviour!

God is a master planner and both of you can do can frustrate His plan for you. He has accounted for your mistakes, shortcomings or even your insubordinate actions against His plan, and yet, His plans dole forward and you learn and grow! You cannot get where you need to be any other way!

It’s not easy to withstand the tide of public opinion, but knowing who you stand with should make all the difference! While the world may be angry at you for standing up for what you believe in, remember that you stand with Christ! And as you stand with Him, you should act as He would and stand up in a loving and kind way!

Our race isn’t with each other, our race is against sin. When we recognize that all we are asked to do is our best, and that He will help us, there is little that we can not overcome. Keep pressing forward, at whatever speed you can, but make sure that you are facing the right direction!

If we truly have faith in and love our Heavenly Father and Saviour, Jesus Christ, it changes us and will have us improving our interactions by being more humble and kind. Being gentle and loving in all that we do. No interactions are more important than those with our spouse. Treat them with respect and love. As we draw closer to Jesus Christ, we draw closer to our spouse and to those around us and make the world a better place! Also, look at that list on attributes and ask yourself, couldn’t the world use a little more of each of them?

The Lord gives us tests throughout our lives. Covid is definitely a time of testing. How are you doing? Are you closer to the Lord today through this trial? Have you strengthened your testimony through prayer, scripture study and exercising your faith? I hope we are all looking for opportunities to be better and do better and strive to press forward despite the trials and tribulations going in around us.

Satan has done an effective job of minimizing the importance of the role that women play in the world. In Heavenly Father’s plan, women play an equal role as men. The role each play is unique, but very much essential. Neither should ever feel as if they don’t bring value. We are children of God and He loves us. We each have that spark of divinity within us. When we recognize our potential and our value, we’ll realize there isn’t anything we can’t do.

Our covenants are paramount! There is no blessing or opportunity that we cannot receive if we uphold our end of those covenants! These covenants are deeply personal and not dependant on others, they are between you and your God!

Like the morning sunrise, we are growing into something amazing, inch by inch, bit by bit. Don’t stress about the speed so much as the direction and the humility required to grow! The storm clouds are brewing! We need to be spiritually ready for the trials and challenges that are coming. We are capable. We have been saved for these last days and we’ve been given gifts that will help us to strive through the challenges we are facing. But we need to rise to the challenge and prepare.

We are each unique in our own way but one thing we all have in common is our divine heritage. We are each children of Heavenly Parents, who love us and are keenly aware of and invested in each of us. They are watching our growth and are hopeful we will be guided in the direction we are to go. Keep moving forward and keep striving towards Them.

I don’t believe the prophet is going use scare tactics in order to get us to listen, but I do believe he will urge and encourage with all his being for us to be found doing the right things. I think if you’re paying attention, Russell M. Nelson has been doing just that!

Women are amazing! My proximity to my wife and mother have taught me that they are amazing! But regardless of how amazing someone is, there’s no way that anyone should be expected to do everything. We need to take a step back, prioritize the most important things and then do what we can.
