The Lord had endowed the Saints with power, and Kirtland was flourishing beneath the towering steeple of the temple. The visions and blessings that season had given them a foretaste of heaven. The veil between earth and heaven seemed ready to burst.

On Sunday, I was reading the book, Saints, and this quote just jumped out at me. I truly feel that this is very similar to our day and the veil between heaven and earth is truly ready to burst. The Lord has been instructing our Prophet, and our Prophet has been instructing and teaching us to hear him, and to know for ourselves, and to receive personal revelation. Will we rise to the occasion so that the Lord can part the veil for us, or will we simply be satisfied with the lack of heavenly light in our life? Please join me and together we will rise to this most splendid of occasions.
