For those of us who have injuries in our lives, which is probably everyone, it is comforting when we have the correct items to care for those wounds on hand. A band aid that is too small for a large wound, will end up sticking to the wound and hurting when removed. The small wounds just seem silly to cover with a gigantic bandaid. As we talk about our spiritual wounds, they come in all shape and sizes, and the Lord’s first aid kit has band aids big, small, and medium size, to cover any wound, no matter the severity. This is super comforting! It lets us know there is hope for all of us, and we are in this together. No matter what injuries we sustain, the Lord has our back, and can help us dress our wounds and get back into the game.
