Sounds like something our current Prophet or Apostles would say! Be rock solid in your beliefs and principles and while it may not be easy, you’ll always stand with God!

“It mattereth not whether the principle is popular or unpopular, I will always maintain a true principle, even if I stand alone in it.” – Joseph Smith

When we are frustrated, we should take time to invite the comforter into our lives to help us. Likewise, we should remove ourselves from a situation if we are feeling angry. Satan laughs when we fight and contend with each other.

“The best remedy for anger is delay!” – Brigham Young

There is nothing quite as pleasing as watching my children help each other! I’m certain our Heavenly Parents feel the same way about their children. Let’s be kind to one another and help each other and we will see God’s hand in our lives!

“If we take good care of one another, God will take care of us.” – John Taylor

The Spirit will not prompt us to do something we cannot do, regardless of how difficult that thing may be. As we strive to have His Spirit to be with us, and seek His help, we will be uplifted and strengthened as we go through trials and challenges in our life that would otherwise bury us. Obey God’s commandments!

“No obstacles are insurmoutable when God commands and we obey!” – Wilford Woodruff

We literally can have a member of the Godhead to be with us at all times, if we are but worthy of it. Thru revelations and confirmation of the Spirit, we may know the truth of all things, and be guide by His hand.

“The grand privilege of every Latter-day Saint is our right to have the manifestations of the spirit every day of our lives.” – Lorenzo Snow

I would suggest that we can spend all our time and efforts on learning the things of the world and becoming masters in the field, but if we do not learn the things of God, to help direct our efforts on Earth, we will not be nearly as effective as we could have been otherwise!

“Pure intelligence comprises not only knowledge, but also the power to properly apply that knowledge.” – Joseph F. Smith

If we won’t ask God for help, should we really be doing it?

“Do not do something that you can not ask God to help you to do!” – Heber J. Grant

The older I get the less stuff seems to matter! The things I love most are my family, friends, and my God. Instead of focusing on the things we don’t have, make sure to be grateful for what we do have and look for ways to help others!

“It is not what we receive that enriches our lives, it is what we give!” – George Albert Smith

If you allow your thoughts to erode the foundation of your faith, your testimony will not be on solid ground. Invite the Holy Spirit to help you as you apply self control in directing your thoughts in a more positive manner.

“Your thoughts are the architects of your destiny!” – David O. McKay

If I could choose, I think I’d want to be described as kind, fair and fun. I’d hope I’m not unnecessarily unreasonable and give people the benefit of the doubt. But I’m also weak at times and forget that others are equally human. I hope we all recognize our shortcomings, and allow for others to make mistakes. When they do, I’d hope we’d show them love and mercy, as our Saviour shows us constantly.

“Remember, everyone has weaknesses, and there are at least two sides to every story. If you err in judgment, be sure to err on the side of love and mercy.” – Joseph Fielding Smith

We don’t have to carry the burden of sin alone, in fact, Jesus Christ has a system in place that can take care of the burden for us. Many of us though, insist on avoiding His help and attempt to bring it up ourselves. He’s already done the work, we just need to ask. Don’t try to be a hero or a martyr, ask for help and He will help you!

“The heaviest burden that one has to bear in this life is the burden of sin.” – Harold B. Lee

If the desires of your heart are righteous and you ask God for help in meeting those dreams, and you honestly work for it, He will help you!

“Dream beautiful dreams and then work to make those dreams come true.” – Spencer W. Kimball

Following Christ helps us to become better, to overcome the natural man (or woman) inside each of us. If we are not changing, we are choosing who we are, and following Christ, helps us to become the best version of ourselves, not overnight, but gradually as we press forward!

“When you choose to follow Christ, you choose to be changed.” – Ezra Taft Benson

We are never beyond repair! There’s is no depth we can sink that He cannot reach! Jesus loves us and His arms are ever reaching for us to make an effort toward Him. Don’t ever think you cannot repent, you cannot afford to think that way!

“We should never let Satan fool us into thinking that all is lost.” – Howard W. Hunter

Believe that you can do great things! You are a child of God! He knows your potential and if we can see even a fraction of that, we’d strive to do better and be better! See your potential and believe in yourself!

“Believe in yourself! Believe in your to do good and great things! Believe that no mountain is so high that you cannot climb it! Believe that no storm is so great that you cannot weather it! Believe in yourself!” – Gordon B. Hinckley

In our daily lives, may we look to the light and strive to be better! It won’t be easy, but we knew coming into life that it wouldn’t be! Let’s rise up and become the people we were meant to be and when we get there, we’ll wonder why we ever complained about the journey!

“May we ever choose the ever right, instead of the easier wrong!” – Thomas S. Monson

The ultimate test of life is to see whether we will choose to follow Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ over our own self interests. Nothing about this will be easy, save for the Spirit of God that will help and comfort us as we strive to be better. If weakness is getting the best of you, earnestly pray for help, then do the things you need to remove those temptations from your life.”

“As part of the divine plan, we are tested to see whether we master weakness or let weakness master us!” – Russell M. Nelson
