I really liked this verse because it made me think about whether or not I am staying “upon the God of Israel.” There are so many people who consider themselves Christian or a Latter-Day Saint but don’t care enough and don’t put in the effort to grow closer to Christ and become more like him. This verse helped me realize how I need to take more advantage of this gospel and make sure I strive to do everything in my power to keep my life centered around Christ. If we want to stay in touch with the spirit, we have to make sure we do all we can to represent Christ everywhere we go because that’s the only way we will be able to gather Israel and return with Him again!!
