We went over these verses in seminary today and they really stuck with me. “My son, peace be unto thy soul; thine adversity and thine afflictions shall be but a small moment; And then, if thou endure it well, God shall exalt thee on high; thou shalt triumph over all thy foes.” (D&C 121:7-8) Everyone has adversity and afflictions, but if we endure well and trust God, we will be exalted on high and triumph over all our foes. Every trial we go through, big or small, is only a fraction of our existence compared to eternity. If we realize this and just push through the doubts and uncertainties, we will eventually be lifted above those trials and will be exalted with Christ.
