Matthew 28:9
And as they went to tell his disciples, behold, Jesus met them, saying, All hail. And they came and held him by the feet, and worshipped him.
As I sat making this picture quote, my heart was filled with such happiness and warmth. I could almost hear my Savior saying unto me, “All hail.” And as I turned to him, what joy would fill my whole being. I love the words they “held Him by the feet, and worshiped Him.” This was not a mere encounter, this was a moment never to be forgotten and they didn’t just touch Him, they held Him. Imagine being reunited with a loved one that had passed on, what would that embrace look and feel like, and now add to that if that loved one was the Savior of the world and the one that bore your burdens, pains, and sins upon himself. Oh, how would you embrace Him, you would fall at his feet in pure love, admiration, and gratitude and you would hold fast to His feet and thus you would worship Him with your whole soul both physically and spiritually. How I long for such an embrace and opportunity to hold and worship my Master, King, Lord, and Savior.
