Over the years, my husband and I have done several “Book of Mormon challenges”. We would acquire the books and then set a date by which we wanted to have them all handed out. But this year we are going to do it a little differently. We have chosen a couple different families in our neighborhood to whom we would like to give a Book of Mormon. Instead of having a set date by which we want to accomplish this, we are going to take our time and pray for them and their families individually. We are also going to pray that our hearts will be filled with love and that we will be led to know how to serve them.
I would like to invite all who read this to join us. Find a family and pray for them. Serve them and love them and let the Lord lead the timetable for when it is right to give them a copy of the Book of Mormon.
I love the Book of Mormon! It is my testimony that it is a true account of the Prophets of ancient America. It is filled with their testimonies of Jesus Christ. Long before He was born they taught the people of Him. They testified that He would be born of a virgin, that He would be the Savior and Redeemer of the World and that He would die for us. Then after He came and visited the people here in ancient America they recorded his ministry and the miracles He preformed among them. It is a beautiful account of their history and their prophesies. I believe that anyone who reads the Book of Mormon can learn more about Jesus Christ and come closer to Him.
