From the time Christ was born, there has been no place for him to dwell in peace and comfort because the adversary is violently doing everything in his power to harden hearts with pride and self-importance. We have nothing to fear! As we make room for Christ in our own homes and hearts, he will calm the storms in our lives and bring healing powers that we shall be made whole. As we create good soil, where our families not only learn of Him, but understand him, we will recognize the miraculous powers of ears to hear, our eyes will be opened and our eternal perspective will change. We will arise and walk spiritually, as the Lord ignites us with purpose. As we fill ourselves and those we love with the spirit of the Lord, the only ones who won’t have a place within us will have to leave, in the name of Christ, and find a new tabernacle in which to dwell or be satisfied with swine. There is only room for one, the Savior himself. Satan has no place to rest his head in our homes, because we cannot risk the chance of division, or our tabernacles and homes shall fall. We need only the great physician who comes to the broken to makes them whole. It is through His mercy and grace that we are all found and shall return home if we will just FOLLOW HIM!
That’s the Weekly Challenge: Make Room For Christ, and watch the miracles unfold in your life.
*Scriptures from this week’s reading that align with the above paragraph, for better understanding.
Mathew 8:19 And a certain scribe came, and said unto him, Master, I will follow thee whithersoever thou goest. 20 And Jesus saith unto him, The foxes have holes, and the birds of the air have nests; but the Son of man hath not where to lay his head.
Mathew 8:26 26 And he saith unto them, Why are ye fearful, O ye of little faith? Then he arose, and rebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a great calm.
Mathew 9:3 And, behold, certain of the scribes said within themselves, This man blasphemeth.
Mark 4:14 The sower soweth the word. 15 And these are they by the way side, where the word is sown; but when they have heard, Satan cometh immediately, and taketh away the word that was sown in their hearts. 16 And these are they likewise which are sown on stony ground; who, when they have heard the word, immediately receive it with gladness; 17 And have no root in themselves, and so endure but for a time: afterward, when affliction or persecution ariseth for the word’s sake, immediately they are offended. 18 And these are they which are sown among thorns; such as hear the word, 19 And the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things entering in, choke the word, and it becometh unfruitful. 20 And these are they which are sown on good ground; such as hear the word, and receive it, and bring forth fruit, some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some an hundred.
Mathew 8:2 And, behold, there came a leper and worshipped him, saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean. 3 And Jesus put forth his hand, and touched him, saying, I will; be thou clean. And immediately his leprosy was cleansed.
Mark 2:11 I say unto thee, Arise, and take up thy bed, and go thy way into thine house. 12 And immediately he arose, took up the bed, and went forth before them all; insomuch that they were all amazed, and glorified God, saying, We never saw it on this fashion.
Mark 4:9 And he said unto them, He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.
Mark 4:11 And he said unto them, Unto you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God: but unto them that are without, all these things are done in parables: 12 That seeing they may see, and not perceive; and hearing they may hear, and not understand; lest at any time they should be converted, and their sins should be forgiven them.
Mark 5:7 And cried with a loud voice, and said, What have I to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of the most high God? I adjure thee by God, that thou torment me not. 8 For he said unto him, Come out of the man, thou unclean spirit. 9 And he asked him, What is thy name? And he answered, saying, My name is Legion: for we are many. 10 And he besought him much that he would not send them away out of the country. 11 Now there was there nigh unto the mountains a great herd of swine feeding. 12 And all the devils besought him, saying, Send us into the swine, that we may enter into them. 13 And forthwith Jesus gave them leave. And the unclean spirits went out, and entered into the swine: and the herd ran violently down a steep place into the sea, (they were about two thousand;) and were choked in the sea.
Mark 3:24 And if a kingdom be divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand. 25 And if a house be divided against itself, that house cannot stand.
Mathew 2:17 17 When Jesus heard it, he saith unto them, They that are whole have no need of the physician, but they that are sick: I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.
