Recently I attended the temple with our deacons to do baptisms and this picture came to mind. I was waiting for my turn to do baptisms and the second witness worker invited me to take his place until it was my turn.
At the time I didn’t think much of it at first, but as I looked around it was all eyes on the two individuals in the water. It was a different feeling that a traditional church baptism. It brought an excitement to me that I’m grateful for.
It made me think about how good it felt to experience something new for the first time. I also realized that sometimes it just takes a different perspective or view to give us a new experience.
When was the last time you did something for the first time? Mix up your routine by trying the same things your do from a different view.
