1 Nephi 22:26 says, “And because of the righteousness of his people, Satan has no power; wherefore, he cannot be loosed for the space of many years; for he hath no power over the hearts of the people, for they dwell in righteousness, and the Holy One of Israel reigneth.”
During the millennium Satan will be bound. But, it’s not God’s power that will bind him. It’s the righteousness of the saints! In the last days, our power is what’s going to keep the adversary from having power over us. When I read this, I thought it was so cool to know that I have power to bind Satan and keep him from reaching me! Because of this, I know that whatever it is I’m facing, I can turn away from temptations and stay strong on the covenant path!
