Every Monday without exception my kids always ask for the same game. In fact since we started it a couple months ago, they have started playing it in random places like the car or the dinner table. They just love it!

We call it Guess Who. Some one thinks of a Book of Mormon character and describes that person to the rest of the group. Then who ever quessed it gets to go next.
I know it’s not a new game. It’s as old as dirt but it was new to our children a couple months ago and has since become a favorite.
I have five children and my oldest is 7 so if your thinking to yourself that your kids are too young to guess the characters, your wrong. They catch on fast and before you know it they know lots of Book of Mormon characters. In fact, we now have moved on to Bible and Modern Prophets. 🙂
The first couple times we played it wasn’t much of a game. I told the kids I wanted to tell them about a couple of my heros from the Book of Mormon. I told them about just a couple heros and then the next time I told them the same stories and had them guess who they were. After that it just took off and they started telling the stories and we kept adding new people.
My kids have even gone as far as acting out the stories (with my help of course) 🙂
It is an easy, cheap, fun game and the bonus is that they are learning all about the scriptures!!!!!!
Recently I saw that Desert Bookstore had a card game called Guess Who that is similar. It has characters and what the characters said and you have to match the cards. So that’s another great way to play the game.
Enjoy your Family-Home-Evening!!!!!!
