• Fawn made a Venmo account and a link for people to donate. I expressed my concerns with that method with my wife. The verification process alone took 2 days before someone could donate. I talked to Fawn about it and asked her if she had looked into GoFundMe. She said no, and asked if we would. Kiera agreed and took that on the next morning. We had created a GoFundMe account and blasted it on Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, and text all within the first 24 hours. 
• One morning in particular, I prayed with great desire, that the Lord help the right people see the GoFundMe link and be drawn to it. Later that day, I felt impressed to check my email. As I shifted through my emails and donation emails, I saw a message from Ashlee DeMartino with AZ Family and channel 3 and 5 news. She wanted to know if we would like to do an interview. She had seen the GoFundMe link on an app called, Next Door.” One of her neighbors had posted it there and she talked to her Director and they decided to do a story on Don if we wanted that. They desired to help us raise more funds.
• And of course, the interview itself went very well and our hearts were even more knit together. My bonds of love for Don and Fawn and all their children was significantly enhanced.
• This above scripture was in my design folder for weeks and I would do a little design here and there, but just never felt inspired to finish and post it until tonight. Even as I designed and started to write this post, it started off differently, and then I felt that I needed to erase and start over and write the words that was put into my heart, and all these words and thoughts and feelings just flowed out. I had not even made the connection to our night and this scripture before, until I erased and put my faith in the Lord and He taught me. I hope I was able to convey at least a few of these thoughts I had to you in this post.
