What a powerful statement this is. There are three things that we should listen to, the prophets (which include all the general authorities because they have appointed as prophets, seers, and revelators), our conscience (which is the Light of Christ), and the still small voice (which is the Holy Ghost and it operates through the Light of Christ). Two of the three things we are to listen to operate through the Light of Christ, which operates mostly through the thoughts in our own mind. Very powerful statement by Thomases Monson. We should be much more diligent in hearing and obeying the righteous voices in our head.
