M Russell Ballard wrote on his Facebook page today about our need to keep the Savior’s atoning sacrifice in our minds.
“I challenge you to keep Gethsemane in your mind. Go there in your mind from time to time. See the old gnarled olive trees and see our Savior on His knees, pleading with our Heavenly Father to see Him safely on His journey that He volunteered to fulfill to bless all of us.
When you see Him, He’ll thank you for bringing one more of our Heavenly Father’s children unto Him.” https://www.facebook.com/lds.m.russell.ballard/posts/709132659275478:0
I love how he said to “go there in your mind.” We need to spend more time with our Savior and pondering all things pertaining to him. When we visualize anything in our mind it becomes more real and important to us, and I can’t think of a better thing to make more real and important to us than his atoning sacrifice.
